Light your property at night.
Tell neighbours your leaving for vacations or any length of time.
Call sheriffs dept for extra patrols.
Take pictures and get serial numbers of your valuables.
Alarm systems are good however 5-10 minutes the deed is done.

On another note Don Driftmier had to resign his up and coming presidents job 2008-2009 due to extremely active endeavors he felt he could not give the presidency the time it needed. Joe Bert will assume the responsibilities according to the by-laws and a new election will occur in Jan.
