Target toys 2006: On Sunday, December 3rd Sunrise Rotary and Rancho Cucamonga Rotary hosted their annual target toys. There were 95 children selected by the YMCA in Rancho Cucamonga. Each child was allowed $100 collected from donations that the Rotary Club's had donated to this project. When I arrived at target in the Lewis Shopping Center the doors seem to be overflowing with exuberant children and expectant moms and dads. What a wonderful way to start the Christmas season. The children seemed so very thankful and it put a warm feeling in your heart. I also saw several Rotarians paying for amounts that were exceeded by the children's gifts. I was proud to be Rotarian.
