Inland Empire Resource Conservation District
Jennifer Ares visited our club on November 20, 2007. Inland Empire Resource Conservation District is a special agency funded with couty tax dollars, grants, and mitigation funding from developers. Much of their focus is on erosion prevention especillay in he San Bernardino Mountains. They also remove non native plant species from watershed areas. Last year, the Mill Creek Cleanup project was completed in Chino. This projects included ongoing education regarding the effects dumping in open areas. Formal education programs include Backyard Conservation, Stormwater pollution, Trees Please, and Wonders of Wetlands.
